The angle of view is much narrower (about 35 degrees) and cannot be "zoomed out" for a full view. It is losing it's date setting after the battery dies out (about a day later) so if you want the date on the recording to be accurate you will resetting it every day. Its refreshing with a distorted portion slowly rolling from top to bottom.
Dashcam still working but now has a wavy distortion in the screen.
